Still think Herman Cain is irrelevant?
By - Richard P. Bulow (Rick Bulow)
There are many who consider Herman Cain as an also-ran and irrelevant
for being in single digits in some of the national polls and not have
enough name recognition. However, that is far from the truth, as we see
in the
and also in the Cumulative Straw Poll Results which are shown
(as of August 27) where Mr. Cain is definitely in the running and
proving that he is very much relevant. After all, in 2007 about this
time Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson were the front runners but when the
rubber hit the road, it was John McCain who won the nomination in
August 2008.
Right now we keep hearing that Rick Perry or Mitt Romney
will get the nomination because they are the front runners. Most front
runners are that because they have the big money and name recognition,
but they can easily be eliminated early on in the primaries and
caucuses, as we had seen in 20008 with Thompson and Giuliani dropping
out early paving the way for McCain. There is no way 2012 will be any
different.
